Futon chairs – Practical, space-saving futon offers an ideal solution if you need an extra bed, but do not have the floor space to accommodate it. The futon serves as a chair or sofa during the day, then easily folds out to bed length for use at night. Although the traditional futons come in just two standard sizes, it is another option for those just in need of a double-size single-sleeper.
Futon chairs types, the classic bi-fold futon available in two sizes: queen and full. The complete is more common size measuring barely a queen and takes up less space along the wall and into the room when folded. You can also use the futon chairs, ottomans and three-way, also known as A-frames.
Futon chairs can also be used as folding beds, with or without an accompanying ottoman, but only sleep one person comfortably. When unfolded, the junior twin chair futon 28 inches wide (within the arms) by 54 inches in length. The double is wider at 39 inches but the same length, 54 inches.
